👉 Research - identify, fully understand, and integrate relevant research concerning the verification of neural network computation
👉 Build novel PIOPs - take ownership of a novel Polynomial Interactive Oracle Proof system for verifiable machine learning computations
👉 Proof construction - develop new, lightweight, proofs to prove state-dependent graph computations have been executed as requested
👉 Engineering support - work with engineers on wider issues concerning cryptography (e.g. for our proof of data availability subsystem)
👉 Follow best practices - build in the open with a keen focus on designing, testing, and documenting your code
👉 Write & engage - contribute to technical reports/papers describing the system and discuss with the community
✅ Deeply technical - extremely strong background in math, cryptography, or computer science; with in-depth knowledge of algorithms, data structures, basic programming concepts, and the ability to write code
✅ Novel system design - have previously produced novel cryptographic systems for verifying computation; particularly zero knowledge proofs
✅ Rapid learner - ability to quickly upskill in adjacent areas (e.g ML, Protocol design)
✅ Highly self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
✅ Comfortable working in an applied research environment - with extremely high autonomy
