Chief Marketing Officer

Location: Lisbon / Global Working schedule: 100% remote or hybrid (two days voluntarily remote)

Currently, we are expanding our team and looking for an individual highly experienced in digital marketing, PR, and product analytics who will be strategizing and driving marketing communications and user acquisition.
We expect candidates to have the following skills:
5+ years of direct, growth-focused experience in digital marketing, preferably in the fintech industry or finance
Proven experience in building marketing, PR, and brand strategy from the ground up
Ability to analyze the competitive environment and available data to figure out market trends and to identify marketing opportunities
Experience in facilitating organic user acquisition, including SEO and CRO
A must: successful experience in content marketing and creating content strategies
Deep understanding of PR techniques and content distribution
Excellent skills in identifying growth opportunities and outlining an action plan to seize these opportunities
Ability to understand sophisticated technical and financial concepts
Structural thinking and ability to prioritize the pipeline
Hands-on experience in the cohort analysis and the analysis of customer funnels
Hands-on experience in web analytics (GA and other tools)
Strong skills in defining an appropriate tone of voice for marketing materials and content
Excellency in preparing presentation decks and other marketing materials
Perfection in reporting, presentations, pitches, and communication
A data-driven approach to improving a chosen strategy
Growth hacking mindset and motivation to constant experimentation
Fluent English (C1+)
We consider the following skills as a strong advantage:
Experience in trading stocks/derivatives/cryptocurrencies
Successful experience in a similar role in known DeFi startups
Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain, or financial markets
Set marketing goals and objectives
Create, plan, and execute high-growth marketing campaigns
Plan, implement and manage marketing strategy
Define Equilibrium’s professional and retail audience segments and outline the acquisition strategy for each segment
Develop new marketing tactics and identify opportunities to expand into new channels and improve our tactics on current channels to boost user acquisition and retention
Review and manage Equilibrium’s content marketing strategy
Scale and automate the growth process of new customer acquisition channels
Find the most efficient ways to drive traffic to our website, landing pages, social media, apps etc.
Prioritize and optimize our growth channels
Definition, monitoring of the company relevant KPIs and control of the measures to achieve the objectives set, present reports
Optimize growth via paid acquisition, retargeting, and product optimizations across web and native-app growth channels
Keep the marketing budget in check
Lead a marketing team in which you motivate and achieve steady improvements in your area
